Enter The Matrix The Matrix: Path of Neo The Matrix Online Connections |
The Matrix: Path of Neo marks the second collaboration between Atari, Shiny, and the Wachowskis. The game allows you to play as Neo and relive his coolest moments from all three films. You'll see all the familiar characters you expect, like Morpheus, Trinity, Agent Smith, and of course Neo, and re-edited footage from all three films as well as The Animatrix is also incorporated into the game. Path of Neo is an "unofficial" sequel to Enter The Matrix in that it's being developed by Shiny Entertainment, the same company responsible for ETM. But that's really all this game has in common with its predecessor. A new engine, new point-of-view, new character to play, and most importantly, a new focus by the game's developers is creating some extremely positive buzz. Path of Neo was released in November 2005 on PlayStation®2, Xbox®, and PC, and has greatly surpassed ETM in player satisfaction.

Did You Know?
In 'Revolutions', the words 'Double Destiny' appear on The Oracle's pack of cigarettes. This could be a reference to
Neo and Smith and their intertwined fate - without one, the other could not exist.
